Arnold Palmer Fruit Pops

Popsicles are a great way to cool off.  I enjoyed them as a kid and I enjoy them as an adult.  They are very quick and easy to make.  You can use your favorite juice, beverage, ice cream, pudding, yogurt, etc.  to make your own customized frozen treat.

I made some Popsicles with berries I had on hand and some Arnold Palmer.  Instead of using black tea bags, I used white tea bags for my Arnold Palmer.

I tossed some fresh fruit into  Popsicle molds and poured in some Arnold Palmer.  Put the tops on the molds and froze  them until solid.  Remove the pops from the molds and serve.

You are ready to enjoy a nice refreshing treat that is welcomed on a hot summer day:)

Arnold Palmer Fruit Pops
Ingredients:
1 pound fresh or frozen fruit of your choice
2 cups Arnold Palmer made with white tea bags. You can find the recipe here.
10 Popsicle molds

Directions:
1. Cut the fruit in half if it is too large.  I left my berries whole.
2. Divide the fruit among the Popsicle molds and add the Arnold Palmer.  Place the top on the plastic molds and place in the freezer.
3. Freeze until solid or overnight.   REmove from molds and serve.

Golden Oreo Pudding Pops

It is hot here.  My main objective has been to stay cool.  I accomplish this by staying in the nice cool house and drinking plenty of cool beverages and eating Popsicles with the kids.    Yesterday, I made some Golden Oreo Pudding pops - two of my favorites combined in one cool treat.

I remember when Jello Pudding pops came out - I thought they were the greatest.  Fast forward a couple of decades and pudding pops have been kicked up a few notches.  I added some crushed Golden Oreo cookies (yes, I love Golden Oreo cookies) to some vanilla pudding.

Crushed Golden Oreo Cookies

Spooned the mixture into 3-ounce Popsicle molds and froze them for about 6 hours. I used sailboat Popsicle molds that I bought at Costco the other week.  They had  Sailboat molds and the Rocket molds in a combined package.  I think I got 16 molds for around $14.  I love Costco:)  Back to the pops.

When you are ready to eat your pops take the molds out of the freezer and run the molds under warm water.  Gently pry the pops from the mold.   You can leave the remaining pops in their molds, or unmold the remaining pops and place them individually in freezer-safe resealable plastic  bags.  Store the bags in the freezer until you are ready to serve.

These pops were the best.  Cool, refreshing, and great tasting:)

Creamy Banana Pops

It's getting hot outside.  Time to dig out and clean my Popsicle molds. These delicious frozen treats were a favorite of mine as a kid.  When I was a kid there weren't the exotic flavors that you can make today.  Pudding pops, berry pops, smoothie pops, yogurt pops, - you get the picture.

Today's recipe is for creamy banana pops.  So easy to make and so creamy and delicious.  Take some ripe bananas and toss them in a blender with some cream, milk, sugar,  and vanilla extract.  Swirl until smooth.  Pour the mixture into some Popsicle molds. Put on the tops and freeze.

If you don't have Popsicle molds  - not to worry.   Just pour the mixture into 5-ounce paper cups.   Let the pops freeze for about 1 hour so you can insert a wooden stick in the center.  Place back in the freezer until solid.  Remove from freezer and enjoy a delicious frozen treat.  A great way to enjoy the hot summer days:)
